Last updated: July 2026. mumcp is built by Mumega. Short version: the plugin runs on your server, your content stays on your site, and nothing is sent anywhere without your explicit action or opt-in.

The mumcp plugin

mumcp stores API keys (hashed), settings, and activity logs locally in your WordPress database. The plugin does not transmit site content to external services unless you configure an optional integration or an AI client you connected asks it to.

Optional, opt-in telemetry

The plugin can send anonymous usage data to PostHog — only if you enable "Share anonymous tool-usage data" in settings. Default is off.

Feedback

If you (or an agent you authorized) explicitly submit feedback through the feedback tool, that report is relayed to us so we can fix bugs. This only happens on explicit submission and can be disabled entirely with the MCPWP_DISABLE_FEEDBACK_RELAY constant.

Third-party integrations

Integrations (stock photos, screenshots, AI providers, search indexing) call their services only when you configure credentials and invoke the matching tool. Each service is disclosed in the plugin readme.

This website

mumcp.com is served by Cloudflare. We set no cookies and run no analytics scripts on this site. Standard server logs (IP, user agent) may be processed by Cloudflare for security and delivery. Web fonts load from Google Fonts, which means your browser sends a standard font request (including your IP address) to Google — see Google's privacy policy.
